A local security company has been named as one of the best in the country by the national Approved Contractor Scheme (ACS).
Swindon-based Truston Security received the accolade after an independent audit by the national body revealed the company to be in the top 15% of all security companies in the UK for quality of service.
Lynda Moore, of ACS, said: " The company has proved that they are a market leader in the security industry consistently providing an excellent standard of service to their clients and demonstrating a high degree of care to their employees."
Now in its third year, Truston was self-funded as a start-up by Alison Charnock, Margaret Wilson and Ian Hedges, and now boasts security responsibilty for more than £1bn worth of business assets.
Operations director Ian Hedges attributes the company's success to it personal service and keeping up with the technologival trends. "Our clients really appreciate the personal contact we have with them and our use of technology means that our clients are always able to speak to a human being 24/7."
