An intrepid team from Swindon-based Banks Chartered Accountants will be putting their best feet forward this Saturday in the annual Starlight Walk to raise money for Prospect Hospice.

The five-strong team, who call themselves the Banks Babes, will be taking part in the women-only event in which participants walk 15km or 10km at night on a route which starts and ends at Croft Sports Centre.

The theme this year is the Queen’s Jubilee so the Banks team, made up of Tracey Heath, Shelly Hacker, Mandy Gibson, Carol Conway and Abbie Paginton, will sport Union Jack cheerleaders’ costumes complete with pompoms.

Tracey, PA with Banks, said: “Prospect Hospice is the charity Banks is supporting this year so it seemed a good idea to take part in this event.

“This is just one of a number of fundraising events we will be involved with and we will also be organising some of our own.”
