A regional house builder has raised more than £3,000 for a Wiltshire charity that helps terminally and seriously ill children.
Malmesbury-based Charles Church Wessex and its employees raised the money for Dreams Come True through a number of different fund-raising initiatives. In total, £49,640 was raised by Charles Church at its 24 regional businesses.
Dreams Come True is a children's charity serving the whole of the UK. Its mission is to make dreams come true for seriously and terminally ill children. Over the last 24 years it has brought happiness and joy to more than five thousand children as well as their friends, family and carers.
Charles Church has supported Dreams Come True for the last 10 years, with staff raising more than £600,000 during this time.
Speaking of the charity, Steve Roche, managing director for Charles Church Wessex, said: “Our employees work tremendously hard throughout the year to raise money for charities across the UK. Dreams Come True is an excellent cause and one we are extremely proud to be associated with.”
