Inaugural health fair to showcase local businesses

People are being urged to attend the Cotswolds first annual health fair, set up by local chiropractor Emma Newby and the Malmesbury Chamber of Commerce.

The free event, that takes place on March 31 at Malmesbury Town Hall, will showcase the health-related business and therapists in the area. So far the fair has attraced more than 30 local businesses and with only a few stands left available the event looks to be a sellout.

All profits from the event will go towards putting on future events and a chosen charity. For the inaugural fair, RUH Bath Neonatal Intensive Care Unit has been chosen. The unit has recently moved to the new state-of-the-art Dyson Centre for Neonatal Care and now needs to raise funds for additional machinery.

Organiser Emma’s daughter was saved by the unit in 2009 and therefore it is personally very important that this first health fair raise as much money as possible for the charity.

The Malmesbury health fair starts from 10.30am – 3.30pm.
