Visitors wanting ideas about what to do, see and most importantly where to stay in Wiltshire can find everything they need in the 2012 Wiltshire Accommodation and Destination Guide.

The 76 page guide features more product than ever before and showcases the county’s ancient history and natural beauty.  This year the key focus is also in the accessibility of Wiltshire.  Located in the south-west of England it’s a county that is within easy reach of most parts of England and well served by road and rail.

The 2012 guide offers insightful and useful information about Wiltshire, enabling visitors to gain knowledge of the destination and its attractions, accommodation, events and dining opportunities prior to visiting.

Laid out in clear sections holidaymakers can plan their visit along themes such as ancient history, arts and culture, shopping or stately homes and gardens.  There is also a useful map for guidance.

The guide contains a more detailed two-page 2012 events calendar.

The second half of the guide is dedicated to accommodation listings where readers have a wealth of choice from luxury four and five star hotels through to quirky pubs with rooms, delightful B&Bs and a range of self-catering and camping venues.

David Andrews, chief executive of VisitWiltshire said: “The Accommodation and Destination Guide 2012 is our biggest ever with more product and a greater number of editorial pages.  We wanted to create a guide that is essentially an all round guidebook for visitors to Wiltshire, informing them of everything they need to know.

"The 2012 guide is the best we’ve produced to date with excellent photography to illustrate all our themes and key brands such as Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral."
