Camilla Atkins of Monahans Financial Services has become a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (FPFS), the highest accolade available to independent financial advisers.

Less than 2% of UK financial advisers have been awarded Fellowship status of the Personal Finance Society, the professional body for those working in the financial services industry and which is dedicated to promoting higher standards of competence and integrity of those individuals.

Camilla joins a select group who have proved their expertise across a wide range of subjects by passing tough and demanding examinations. She has successfully completed exams in taxation, trusts, pensions, investments and business financial planning over a period of six years.

Monahans Financial Services managing director Steve Missen said: “This is a fantastic reward for all of the hard work Camilla has put in to increasing her knowledge and expertise. It is clearly great news for our clients, as they can continue to expect the highest quality of independent advice from us. This adds to our excellent reputation as one of the first firms, nationally, to achieve Corporate Chartered Status.”

Monahans Financial Services has offices in Swindon, Bath, Chippenham and Glastonbury with its main administrative centre located in Trowbridge. Clients include private individuals, sole traders, partnerships and limited companies across the UK and among the expatriate community.
