It’s not just the low running costs of their cars that will be a cause for celebration amongst smart drivers living in Wiltshire later this month.
smart of Swindon is inviting the county’s smart owners to join them for the 2011 smart festival, which takes place at Mercedes-Benz World, Weybridge, on Saturday 10th September.
The fun-packed day will begin with a rendezvous at the Drakes Way retail outlet at 8am before drivers head off for the festival in convoy approximately one hour later.
Last year more than 4,000 smart enthusiasts in 1,420 cars descended on the festival making it the biggest single-day gathering of smarts.
With a variety of exciting attractions, the 2011 event promises to be even bigger and better. Highlights will include the exclusive unveiling of the ‘Boxfresh’ special edition, thrilling demonstrations from the smart arrows formation driving team, the chance to test drive the smart fortwo electric drive ahead of its official launch next year and competitions to identify the ‘most modified’, ‘best kept’ and ‘best dressed’ cars.
