A valuable insight into the performance and hopes of entrepreneurial businesses has been launched by advisory firm Deloitte.
Entrepreneurship UK: 2011/12 will take the pulse of entrepreneurs and their businesses at a pivotal time for the UK economy.
Now in their fourth year, Deloitte's Entrepreneurship UK reports have become an essential way of gauging the current attitudes, performance and objectives of entrepreneurs.
The firm's entrepreneurial business leader for the South West, Samantha Hart, said: “When we conducted our survey in 2010, more than half of entrepreneurs from across the UK were expecting to generate at least 10% revenue growth over the coming year. Just 8% were projecting zero or negative growth. Many were clearly looking at new ways of raising finance, expanding their revenues and containing their costs.
“Despite an improved economic climate, market conditions remain very fragile. This year’s survey will provide an interesting insight into entrepreneurs’ confidence in the coming months.”
The survey – at www.entrepreneurshipuk.com – is open until the end of July and takes just 10 minutes to complete. The results, which will be analysed by Deloitte and the London Business School, will be published in late summer. Each entrepreneur participating in the survey will receive a copy of the ‘Entrepreneurship UK: 2011/12’ report.
All responses will be analysed on an anonymous basis and will not be shared with any third parties. The data will not be used for any other purposes outside the production and publication/promotion of the report.
