A new business group which aims to get businesses in and around Wiltshire talking to each other, will launch on Wednesday June 1 with an all-day drop-in event featuring key speakers on a range of business subjects, free surgeries with business professionals and the opportunity to meet other local business people.
Wiltshire Business Growth has been formed by several local businesses and business owners including Hyde Accounting Services, The HR Dept for East Somerset and West Wiltshire, LA Marketing and Design and Motivational Leadership with the aim of helping Wiltshire businesses promote themselves, create strategic partnerships and alliances, make new contacts and share experience and information.
The June 1 free event, which takes place at the Glove Factory Studios in Bradford on Avon from 9.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. will see presentations covering subjects such as getting ready for growth, motivation, the web and your place in it and HR solutions.
Speakers include Sue Tumelty, founder and managing director of the HR Dept which provides advice and support on employment issues to SME employers; Kate Turner, director of Motivational Leadership; Paul Barry-Walsh, chairman of The Fredericks Foundation a charity that helps disadvantaged people to set up, or expand their own business, Lionel Boyle, director of LA Marketing and Design, Dr Matthew Potts, owner of Abundant Life wellbeing centres and Phil Cheesman, head of eLearning services at Roehampton University.
