Barclays Corporate in Swindon has appointed Chris Elias as the new commercial director for the area, who will be responsible for heading up the Barclays corporate team based at the firm’s offices at Old Town, Swindon.
Chris brings a wealth of corporate banking experience having worked in the industry for RBS/Nat West for nearly 30 years focusing primarily in the commercial banking market, and with the majority of that time operating in Swindon and across Wiltshire.
Barclays Corporate is responsible for a portfolio of customers with a turnover of £5m+ and is now more closely aligned to Barclays Capital, the investment banking arm, and Barclays Wealth, the wealth management business of Barclays Group.
