The first unit in a new town centre retail development in Chippenham has been sold on behalf of RJ Goode and RS Morgan of GVA Grimley (Joint LPA Receivers).
Alder King Property Consultants sold Unit 1, Gladstone Parade, which is now occupied by Academy Insurance.
Unit 1 extends to 2,762 sq ft and is the largest unit in the retail development, which is located on Gladstone Parade.
Alder King have received good interest in the development since offering the units on a for sale basis and the remaining two units which extend to 1,954 sq ft and 2,108 sq ft are now under offer. The units have been finished to a shell specification ready for shopfitting.
Alison Williams, senior surveyor at Alder King said: “Gladstone Parade is a new mixed use development on one of the main access roads into the town centre. It offers three retail units with a three storey residential complex above. The units are located directly opposite a new development of 162 homes and so are well positioned to provide a range of amenities for the local residents.”
