Magnum Wines are holding one or two wine tastings a week in the run up to Christmas and their premises in Old Town can hold up to 60.
The Tastings vary from large corporate events with com panies like Intel, Zurich Insurance, Nationwide, Monahans, and Openwork to small private tastings for hen parties, birthdays, engagements or stag nights.
The sort of tastings they do vary from New World versus Old World, South American Tastings, Vertical Tastings, Horizontal Tastings and they can be organised with or without food. Tapas from Los Gatos is very popular.
For Christmas, Magnum Wines has an extremely good range of gifts and gift packs and they’ve been doing very well with their gift tokens. Worth looking at are their range of inexpensive Clarets, starting at £6.99. There’s an 03 Santenay from Burgundy at £9.99. Their best buy in Fizz is Mumm Cuvee Napa from California, normally £12.99, but now two for £20.
