Fourteen town-centre retailers have demonstrated their exemplary levels of customer care and service by scoring full marks in a visit from a mystery shopper.
The fourteen retailers that scored 100% in the independent assessment can all be found in The Brunel shopping centre. They were: Argos, Best Burritoz, Café Roma, Collectors Corner, Early Learning Centre, Games Workshop, Greggs, Lloyds Bank, Lotto, Newday Telecom, Sani Creative Fashions, Sasco’s Café, Sweets Galore and Thomas Cook.
Centre manager, Tony Wilkes, said: “We were absolutely thrilled by the results of the independent Mystery Shopper visit. We take real pride in the high levels of customer service offered by retailers within The Brunel, so to have it recognised and praised by an independent assessor in this way is fantastic.
“On top of the fourteen retailers that scored full marks, an additional 30 retailers scored 90% or above, which is just outstanding for a shopping centre of our size.
“Shopping centres can become very busy places in the lead up to the Christmas period, but I hope shoppers will see these results as confirmation that they can expect, and rely on, first-class customer service from our retailers throughout the year. We strive to make The Brunel a relaxed and pleasant environment for the whole family and this is reflected in both the high levels of customer service and the extra activities and events that we put on throughout the year. This Christmas will be no exception, with a whole host of activities such as a Santa’s Grotto and a range of activity workshops that the whole family can enjoy.”
