A new business offering some of the world’s leading designer brands in golf and fashion wear will open in Swindon on 1 May, 2010.
Urban 18, being created in shop premises at 102 Victoria Road, Old Town, Swindon, will feature golf and fashion clothing by brands such as Lacoste, Calvin Klein, Lyle & Scott Green Eagle, Slazenger and Puma.
Urban 18 is the brainchild of golf professional and global sportswear manager Daniel John (31) and his professional dancer wife Katie (30).
Dan said: “I worked in management positions for both Peak Performance and Cross; I had always wanted to open my own retail business and when the opportunity arose we grabbed it with open arms.”
Dan and Katie will launch the business to an invited guest list on 29 April. Many people in both amateur and professional sports from Swindon, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire have been invited to the occasion.
