Local builders Crampton Leighfield has won the coveted Investors in People award.
Simon Leighfield, managing director, was delighted with the accolade after deciding to look at new ways of improving the business two years ago.
Along with Simon, fellow directors Neil Golding and Mark Stratton they worked with Lance Cross of Bristol-based employment solutions firm PES.
Simon said it was great to be recognised for making a difference. “Being in construction, things are tight, and recently we’ve been through some tough times. But we’ve stuck with it, and now everyone who works here is so proud.”
