Arval UK, the vehicle leasing company, has announced there will be 80 redundancies across its business locations in Swindon and Birmingham. “We employ 998 staff between our Swindon and Birmingham offices, so this measure will impact on less than 10 per cent of our workforce,” the comapny said.
“In what are challenging market conditions, we have accelerated a planned review to improve efficiency within our business processes.
“As a result of this ongoing review, it is with regret that we can confirm that we have announced a phased redundancy programme which may result in a maximum of 80 redundancies across the business.”
Any affected staff have been consulted with and will be given support and guidance during this difficult time.
“We have taken and will continue to take all possible measures to keep job losses to a minimum.”
