Sara Tye, the award-winning Swindon entrepreneur, is to draw on her experiences of building and running her own businesses and helping clients establish themselves as leading brands when she speaks at a major conference next month.

In her talk to the Women’s Business Club Maximise Conference & Awards, Sara, pictured – founder of Swindon-based redheadpr – will discuss how effective PR and marketing are indispensable to the success and growth of a business – no matter how small or large.

Called Grow Your Business #aheadofthecurve with PR, the presentation will touch on Sara’s varied career, during which she headed up communications at Yellow Pages, developed stakeholder relations in-house at Thames Water Utilities and was the personal PR internationally for The Body Shop’s founder, the late Dame Anita Roddick.

As well as being a top 500 international PR, Sara is also a business and organisational development expert and triathlete.

The Women’s Business Club Maximise Conference & Awards on November 30 will attract businesswomen from all over the UK for a day of networking and exhibiting.

As well as inspiring talks, the event will feature the Maximise Dragoness’ Den, an opportunity to present new business ideas to a panel made up of Abi Howell of Truly Tailored Recruitment, Charlotte Graham of St James Place and Clare Holland of Clare Holland Eye Care.

The Women’s Business Club Maximise Awards include 14 categories, including Business Woman of 2016, Business Mum of 2016, Best New Business of 2016 and Active Business Woman of 2016.

Sara said: “This is a big day in the calendar for all women who run – or are looking to run – their own business.

“As a serial entrepreneur myself, I’ve been helped tremendously by events such as this, so I’m delighted that I’ll be speaking.”

Women's Business Club founder and director Angela De Souza said: “Maximise is the highlight of my year as all our clubs from across the country come together for a whole day.

“People who have ‘met’ in our vibrant social media groups get to meet in person and those who have been observing us from a distance can come and meet us in person too.

“We’re about connecting people and supporting them in their businesses, so Maximise is the place to be.”

Also speaking at the event are Channel Mum’s Siobhan Freegard OBE, growth coach Andy Gwynn, The Life Buddy founder Jennifer Hall and Billal Jamil of the Public Speaking Academy as well as Angela De Souza.

Sara, who spoke at the recent Influencers Business Bootcamp in Swindon, is also CEO of luxury cycling and skiing company, Etape Suisse. Clients of redheadPR include innovative businesses in sectors as diverse as gardening, heating, ventilating and air conditioning, food and drink, travel, property and business services.

The Women’s Business Club Maximise Conference & Awards takes place from 9am to 5pm on November 30 at the Pittville Pump Rooms, Cheltenham. Delegate tickets are £22.50.
