Swindon accountancy firm PPS Chartered Accountants has promoted Sally Holland to partner.

Sally, pictured, was the firm’s first trainee when she joined aged 19 in 2001 after completing her A-levels.

She started her chartered accountancy studies later that year at Reed Business School, passing her final exam in 2006 and receiving the ACA (Association of Chartered Accountants) qualification the following year.

Sally said: “Over the last four years, I’ve been building my managerial skills and working towards a partnership. I’m delighted to have achieved this objective and am looking forward to developing this next phase of my career.”

PPS Chartered Accountants senior partner Paul Papworth-Smith said: “We’re delighted to welcome Sally as a partner to the firm. In her 15 years here to date, she’s been a talented, committed and loyal member of our team. It’s great news that Sally will continue to develop her career here at PPS Chartered Accountants.”

While Sally will be taking on increased responsibilities within the firm, she will continue to work with clients and provide the personal approach for which PPS Chartered Accountants is admired.

Founded in 1992, PPS Chartered Accountants has grown by nearly 30% in recent months and now employs 11 staff.

The firm provides accountancy support for start-ups, established businesses and individuals.

Its business services range from tax, payroll and company formation to management accounts, raising finance and growth. For individuals, the firm advises on personal tax, inheritance tax and trusts as well as a range of wealth management issues.
