Campaign to Protect Rural England treasurer role for Swindon tax partner

Lucie Hammond, a partner in audit, tax and consulting firm RSM’s Swindon office, has been appointed treasurer for the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE).

Lucie, who has been a tax partner at RSM in Swindon since 2011, specialises in rural services, covering agricultural, equestrian and landed estates, and has more than 20 years’ experience of advising individuals and businesses on strategic and structural matters.

She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and the Association of Accounting Technicians.

CPRE chair Su Sayer said: “We are delighted to welcome Lucie as treasurer of CPRE. In addition to her accounting and taxation expertise, she brings with her a real understanding of the issues facing the rural sector and I’m sure she will make an important contribution to the work of CPRE.”

CPRE, a registered charity, has around 60,000 members and supporters and campaigns to protect, promote and enhance the UK’s towns and countryside to make them better places to live, work and enjoy.
