Top travel industry award shortlisting for VisitWiltshire’s website

VisitWiltshire’s website, which was relaunched earlier this year, has been shortlisted in the UK travel industry’s leading awards for web, social media and use of technology.

Now in their 12th year, the TravelMole UK Web Awards are staged by the TravelMole.com online community for the travel and tourism Industry.

VisitWiltshire’s website has been shortlisted in the Best Tourist Board website category alongside Visit Bath and Visit Florida.

VisitWiltshire marketing manager Fiona Errington said: “We are delighted to have been shortlisted for these awards especially after launching our refreshed, fully responsive website with new functionality earlier this year.”

The websites are judged on their content, layout, ease of navigation and innovation.

Online voting for all 16 categories in the awards is now taking place and is open until December 31. The award ceremony takes place in London on January 21.

Established in 1998, TravelMole.com and TravelMole.TV publish e-newsletters and videos to more than 450,000 travel and tourism industry professionals and subscribers, as well as 30m consumers in 132 countries.

VisitWiltshire, the official tourist board for the county, is a private sector membership organisation representing more than 630 partners.
