Swindon law firm Francis George Solicitor-Advocate is embarking on ambitious expansion – including taking on additional staff – as it prepares to celebrate its eighth anniversary.

The firm, which specialises in litigation, pre-litigation and non-contentious work, is looking to recruit five new team members to take its total staffing up to 24. It will also expand its Old Town office to accommodate the expansion.

Founder Francis George, pictured, said: “We’ve enjoyed eight wonderful years here in Swindon and are looking forward to many, many more. The office expansion is about to start and we’re looking to recruit new people. Exciting times for a growing business in a vibrant town.”

Francis gained his higher rights qualification following experience in civil and family law litigation. A member of the Law Society’s Expert Family Panel and a member of Resolution – a group of family lawyers dedicated to resolving matters without conflict – Francis supports clients in a friendly, non-confrontational way.

In July the firm joined the panel of the Somerset & Wiltshire branch of the Federation of Small Businesses as a legal advisor.

As a Higher Rights Advocacy, Francis George Solicitor-Advocate gives clients the equivalent service to a barrister. Advising from the start of a case to the finish, the firm’s team works with a range of bodies, from the Small Claims Court to the Supreme Court.

The firm has also launched its new website, giving prospective and existing clients easy access to information about the services available, the company and the team.

The firm’s services include family law, wills, trusts and probate, conveyancing and commercial property, commercial litigation, employment law, personal injury and contractual disputes.
