Effective web content to drive sales will be the focus of a networking breakfast in Swindon next week. Chartered accountancy firm Banks BHG will host the free event at its Stratton offices, on November 4.

The event will look at content – especially video content – and how it can be used to engage customers and convert prospects in a structured, targeted and cost-effective way.

There will be three presenters. Tim Johns, corporate communications and change consultant and former corporate communications and media relations director at Unilever, BT and Sainsbury’s, will speak about how content marketing should be the cornerstone of business communications.

Dave Harries, managing director of Tetbury-based Communicate TV, which specialises in interview-based video content, will talk on “How to produce as many as 90 videos in one day for £3,000”.

Finally, Steve Barton, digital marketing consultant and former president of the Word Of Mouth Marketing Association, will share hints and tips learned from experiences with content marketing programmes in the US and around the globe.

The event runs from 7.30am-9am. Booking is required, either via www.banksbhg.com or by emailing claire.hunt@banksbhg.com
