Wroughton Business Park is now fully occupied after national courier group Diamond Logistics moved into the last remaining unit.

Guildford-based Diamond has taken 2,550 sq ft Unit 8 on a five-year lease in a deal secured by the Swindon office of South West property agents Alder King on behalf of private clients. The quoting rent was £14,000 a year.

The unit, pictured below, – one of eight on the business park – gives Diamond a modern end-of-terrace light industrial accommodation on the outskirts of Swindon. The group has more than 25 depots across England, which operate on a franchise basis.

Martin Baker of Alder King said interest in the property had been strong, due to its location and competitive quoting rent.

“With the supply of industrial accommodation across the town reducing on an almost daily basis, it is perhaps not surprising it has been let so quickly,” he said.
