Eight companies have been attracted to a refurbished office building on Swindon’s Groundwell industrial estate since the first phase of its major refurbishment programme was completed.

Gemini House, owned by London-based property investment firm Minton Group, now has a new reception area and totally-overhauled communal internal courtyard which have helped transform it into a magnet for firms wanting small office space on the edge of town with good road links.

The offices have also been fully redecorated and new toilet and kitchenette facilities provided.

The new occupiers include specialist recruitment agency Aligra, eyeware supplier Glasses Direct, IT providers, website designers and financial consultants.

Minton Group director Ashley Bourne recently hosted a drinks reception for occupiers and business leaders which was attended by Swindon North MP Justin Tomlinson, who welcomed the investment in the building to create quality offices at affordable rents which had encouraged business expansion.

Gemini House is being jointly marketed by the Swindon offices of agents Alder King and Keningtons.

Alder King partner James Gregory said: “As the economy has steadily improved during 2014, we have seen companies keen to capitalise on the opportunity to take occupation of their own offices on flexible terms.

“This building also offers excellent access to the A419 and the town centre as well as offering excellent car parking.”

Keningtons partner Jeremy Sutton added: “It has been pleasing to see companies who have only been in occupation for a few months needing to expand already. Gemini House provides a wide range of different sized suites and therefore we have been able to accommodate people’s needs”.
