Swindon and Marlborough-based law firm Withy King has created a dedicated new build and plot sales team –and appointed two new property experts.

Residential property solicitor Beth Heley joins from Goughs in Corsham, bringing with her a solid understanding of local market trends. Beth, pictured, will be working closely with housebuyers and sellers on a range of property-related issues and will be supported by another new recruit, Kylie Dover, who is well known in the Wiltshire property scene.

One of Beth’s key roles will be to provide conveyancing services and other specialist support to buyers of new-build properties as part of a dedicated team. They will work alongside the firm’s established property developer team which specialises in site acquisition, strategic land and site assembly.

Withy King’s head of the residential property, farms and estates team, Angus Williams, said: “Developers and investors are increasingly looking for advice and support from solicitors who understand the issues relating to new builds and plot sales and our dedicated property development team provides them with a range of bespoke services.

“As the market has picked up and more new builds are coming to the market, our developer clients are also looking to us to support the sale of their properties.

“Our new build and plot sales team has been launched on the back of this demand and we are delighted to welcome Beth and Kylie on board to support our work in this area. New build property transactions require specialist knowledge and experience as they need bespoke paperwork, newly-created title deeds and have other specific requirements. With a dedicated team in place, developers and buyers can expect a fast, effective service and expert advice.”
