Employment law specialist Lauren Harkin has joined law firm Withy King’s Swindon team as an associate from Lemon & Co, also based in the town.
Lauren works closely with directors and HR decision-makers as well as employees on a wide range of employment issues. These include defending employment tribunal claims, drafting contracts of employment and senior-level service agreements, all aspects of discrimination, business restructuring, redundancy and TUPE transfers.
Lauren is also particularly experienced at negotiating exit packages for employees and advising on compromise agreements.
She said: “Employment law is frequently regarded as a headache by business owners and managers – and they often just want someone to make it go away.
“I take a straight-talking, pragmatic approach to legal advice and am happy to provide as much support as required to make the process as painless as possible.
