Swindon and Bath-based law firm Withy King will be providing free one-to-one advice clinics during UK Trade & Investment’s Export Week, which runs from November 12 to 16.
The firm’s technology and media partners, Jessica Bent (pictured) and Simon Clegg, will be providing essential guidance on how to prepare a business for export, including considering contracts with overseas customers, suppliers or distributors and intellectual property issues.
These advice clinics will be held at Withy King’s offices in Swindon on Monday, November 12 and Thursday November 15. Sessions will also be held in Bath on Tuesday, November 13.
Places are offered on a first come, first served basis. For further information and to book your free session, please email email@example.com
UKTI’s Export Week will feature a nationwide programme of events to inform and encourage small and medium-sized businesses which may be considering exporting as well as those already successfully exporting and wanting to do more.
The Government recently awarded £13m of funding to UKTI to help 10,000 more British firms export. This additional funding for SMEs will include further financial support to travel on overseas trade missions and attend trade shows as well as substantial discounts for use of the Overseas Market Introduction Service (OMIS) – a market research service which helps businesses find contacts overseas and develop relationships in new, fast-growing markets.
