Learn from the experts at the Sales and Marketing Forum. We help you get more – and better – customers by inspiring you with powerful stuff that works, bringing you practical new ideas that you might not have thought of, and reminding you about sales and marketing basics (with a contemporary twist). Our speakers are renowned for their generosity during the Q & A sessions and informal networking.

Formal presentations are preceded by an excellent buffet lunch, so there’s plenty of time to get together with fellow members and find out how things are going, what opportunities might be on the horizon, and how you could help each other.

Speakers:

Nimish Sawjani – My Marketing Delivered
Rick Heimsch – Protean
Chris Dace – Resonates

First speaker: Nimish Sawjani, Director, My Marketing Delivered
Topic: Marketing Thinking with Added Courage

Nimish Sawjani has worked in the marketing departments of global brands, including Audi and Hilton, and will reveal the clarity, discipline and courage businesses leaders require to deliver effective marketing.

Thought provoking, insightful and with a light hearted angle, Nimish will highlight the fundamentals of marketing that, if applied, will help you win new and existing business time and time again.

With particular expertise in customer engagement Nimish has worked with the likes of Hilton, driving incremental revenue throughout their portfolio of hotels and at Audi, helping them enjoy their highest ever customer loyalty scores.

Second speaker: Rich Heimsch, Protean Marketing Communicatons
Topic: Effective Copywriting

Most people have something to say, but not everyone knows how to say it. Yet every business needs to be able to write press releases to generate coverage; adverts to attract attention, brochures to win business, website copy to draw visitors in. Effective copywriting is the essential ingredient.

Rich Heimsch, owner of Protean, has 20 years of global experience from start-ups to family-owned businesses to global players. He will show you how to use copy to spur the reader into action, so that your promotional material does what you want it to do in a cost-effective way.

Third speaker: Chris Dace, Resonates
Topic: 5 Top PR Tips for your Business

Why might you need PR? You can use public relations (PR) to influence customers’ and other stakeholders’ opinion and behaviour, manage your organisation’s reputation and earn understanding or support for what you do and sell. Third party newspapers, magazines, websites and radio stations are often far more credible to your customers than the media you pay for and control yourself – their endorsement can make a big difference.

And good PR is the cheapest way to get people to talk about you!

Chris Dace has been with Resonates since the company started and has particular expertise in marketing for technology, cleantech and renewable energy – all areas where good PR is essential to driving the business forward. He will share his experience with you and pick out five tips that you can take away and act upon.
