Local athlete Mike Buss is attracting a lot of interest as well as business in Swindon with his success at breaking world records both for charity and as a brand ambassador for business.

Mike has broken more than 40 world fitness records and recently broke a world record in front of 80,000 people at the Leisure Industry Week show at the Birmingham NEC.

A true Swindonian, Mike grew up in Highworth, attending Warneford School before joining the army as a teenager where he served almost 10 years. Finding life hard as a civilian, Mike ended up homeless for more than five months until he found his new purpose in life; to use his amazing level of fitness to fund raise for Forces charities such as the Royal British Legion, Help for Heroes and Veterans in Action to name a few and has raised over £140,000 to date.

His Swindon business sponsors include, The Swindon Designer Outlet Village, ISO2 Nutrition, Johnsons Volvo/Mazda of Swindon, Kendle Bell of Highworth, Andrews Butchers of Highworth, The Mercure Hotel South Marston and CDA Insurance.  Many of which have been long standing sponsors of Mike from the very beginning of his rise to professional sport three years ago.
