Howard Tenens will display a dual fuel tractor unit and a Cartwright Cheetah trailer on its stand (no. 575) at the Multimodal Show at the NEC from 27th to the 29th April 2010

The locally-based company is leading the logistics sector into an era focused on low carbon technology, by using the patented OIGI dual fuel system its fleet is being converted to run simultaneously on natural gas and diesel. To promote this new initiative it is attending several industry shows this year, including Multimodal, where a dual fuel tractor unit and the Cartwright Cheetah Trailer are being exhibited.

Tom Bain, Group Operations Director commented: “We have significantly reduced our carbon footprint by running dual fuel vehicles and we expect further reductions from the addition of a Cartwright Cheetah trailer.”

Steven Cartwright, Director of the Cartwright Group commented:  “Howard Tenens has had gas tanks fitted to the underside of the Cartwright Cheetah trailer, to increase the dual fuel range before refuelling is required.

“We are delighted that Howard Tenens has decided to include the Cheetah Trailer on its stand at the Multimodal Show to help promote its environmental logistics initiatives.”
