On behalf of Northern Office Investments Limited, Whitmarsh Lockhart has disposed of the entire building otherwise known as One Sanford Street which comprised an 17,211 sq ft office building, formerly occupied by the British Computer Society.

Lantech Training Limited have taken the building on a new ten year lease agreement.  The quoting rent was £8.00 per sq ft per annum.

Lantech Training were founded in 2002 as LTC College London, with the aim of becoming a leading provider of courses in English as a Foreign Language (EFL).  Since then, the College has expanded its offering to include a comprehensive range of business, management and IT qualifications from short certificate courses to long term diplomas and post graduate courses.

At the end of 2009, Lantech acquired a small English Language school in Swindon and saw it as a business development opportunity for the future. It has now relocated the business to One Sanford Street and will be operating the enlarged business as Sanford College.

Daniel Smethurst of Whitmarsh Lockhart commented: “We are delighted that Lantech Training chose Swindon as its preferred location for expansion and we wish them every success with this venture.  Lantech intended to transform One Sanford Street into an educational establishment and we understand that they are now fully operational.”

Loveday & Loveday were joint agents on the property and Mason & Partners were the instructing agents.
