Higher education open evening

Swindon College is inviting those who are interested in joining a higher education course to an open evening on Wednesday 29th April, between 4pm and 7pm at the North Star Campus.

Rebecca Cork, marketing officer said: “This event will be an opportunity for people to find out about the university level courses on offer and what it is like to study at the College. . Applicants will be able to meet with the tutors, discuss their options and explore the campus.”

Swindon College is one of the largest providers of university level courses in Wiltshire and is keen to reinforce the message that today you don’t have to leave home to gain a degree. The College offers HND/Cs, BA (Hons) Degrees, Foundation Degrees and MAs in a variety of subjects, including art and design, engineering, business, construction, computing, early years and youth work on a full and part time basis . The College also has a number of professional qualifications available, which can be studied part time in the evenings.

Photography students will also be displaying their work at the College’s Higher Education Open Evening. Students on the Higher National Diploma (HND) programme will be showcasing their work and will be available on the night to talk to those interested in studying HND in Photography. The photography exhibition will run from Monday 27th April to Friday 1st May in the Phoenix building, North Star Campus. The student work is based on ‘locations’ around Swindon and Wiltshire.
