The Inn at Fossebridge is staging a special food launch event to present its growing reputation as a Cotswolds inn with food for all occasions.

Robert Jenkins acquired the Inn, near Cirencester, four years ago and has spent major sums on refurbishments to all parts of the property, which occupies pride of place in four acres of grounds.

Since her arrival, Robert’s Leiths graduate daughter Elizabeth has set about providing food for all occasions – from fish and meat dishes to puddings and pastries.

Elizabeth and new head chef Damien Dupuis have changed the original food offering entirely – and on April 16 they will demonstrate to an invited audience their wide range of dishes and their special menu for the summer.

Elizabeth said “As anyone in the food industry is aware, to bring about a completely new direction in the kitchen is a huge task, especially when you want to blend the best in pub food with really special English and French cuisine.

“Besides lunches and dinners, the breakfast offering provides a great start to the day…so the growing number of people who stay with use can be assured they will have a quality meal whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

“That is also reflected within the large number of customers who come to dine at the Inn, during the day or evening.”

The April 16 event will also show the excellence of buffets now produced by the kitchen team for business meetings, family occasions, company and corporate events, weddings and other special meals.

Besides meeting Elizabeth Jenkins and Damien Dupuis, the guests will also hear from owner Robert Jenkins about his future plans for the Inn, including extra bedrooms and refurbishment of buildings in the grounds as bespoke guest accommodation.

On hand too will be his eldest daughter – experienced events organiser Samantha Jenkins, who will lead tours of the hotel to enable guests to see Robert’s investment at first hand.
