Howard Tenens has renewed its contract with Honda Logistics Centre for Aftermarket Parts distribution throughout the UK and Northern Ireland to over a 200 dealership network.  This extends the two companies existing 10 year partnership for a further fives years.

Ben Morris, Howard Tenens Group sales and marketing director said: “This is a very significant achievement, especially when you consider the economic climate in which we find ourselves. Howard Tenens have shown that in a time of increasing competition and with greater requirements for cost effective solutions we can continue to adapt to our customer’s needs, secure business and provide improved service levels.  We are investing in new vehicles, technology and equipment to realise greater efficiencies.

“In conjunction with Honda we put in place key performance indicators to measure on time delivery and secure delivery. Against these criteria, we achieve a delivery performance which is the best in Europe for Honda.  This clearly demonstrates that with our values of commitment to quality and hard work we can achieve success,” Mr Morris said.

Howard Tenens’ relationship with Honda spans a period of over 10 years and is administrated from their distribution depot at South Marston Park, Swindon. The contract also provides support for several other automotive businesses in the UK.

Ray Runza, Honda Logistics UK Ltd managing director said: “Our decision to extend our contract with Howard Tenens confirms our belief in their ability to meet our exacting standards of quality, cost and delivery on time.  The experience, dedication and loyalty of their employees during the past ten years were key factors in the evaluation process for Honda.”

Mr Runza concluded: “We are confident that Howard Tenens will continue their demonstrated commitment to supporting our brand image by providing the highest levels of service to our dealer network and will also support our activities in reducing costs throughout the current economic downturn.”
