Swindon-based branding and marketing agency Creative Rush is celebrating its latest win to deliver a revised website for London Grid for Learning (LGfL).

The LGfL trust was established in 2000 by the thirty three London Local Authorities to provide extensive and cost effective ICT services, particularly broadband and e-learning tools. Their website www.lgfl.net receives in excess of five million visitors per year and is a key source of information for teachers and pupils in London. The Trust decided that a complete re-design was needed to engage visitors more effectively.

Having approached Creative Rush to tender as part of a three agency pitch for the business, Creative Rush was chosen after offering the most well rounded proposal.

Brian Durrant, chief executive of the LGfL Trust said: “The team involved in the selection of the most appropriate agency were impressed by Creative Rush’s well thought through approach; which included a strong demonstration of design capability as well as giving an insight into how the team think things through from the perspective of the end user – effectively providing us with fresh ideas for how we communicate with our core audiences.”

Chris Wood, Learning Platforms manager for LGfL added: “After winning the procurement – the quality of Creative Rush’s designs have confirmed we made the right choice. We’re really looking forward to launching the new site ready for September 2009.”

Established in 2007 by Bruce Gamble and Anthony Hodges, the company has grown to a team of six – providing a complete range of integrated branding and marketing services all under one roof.

Ant Hodges, CEO for Creative Rush said: “Creative Rush has grown significantly in its first eighteen months of trading, and this latest contract win is testament to our focus on building a business based on strong values, including a desire to seek excellence in all we do. We are really pleased to be able to work with LGfL and through our delivery of their new website we will be showcasing our abilities as well as providing London schools and local authorities with a design that will serve them well into the future.”
