Acting on behalf of Leehampton Developments, Whitmarsh Lockhart has concluded lease negotiations with DestinationSkin to take the first floor of Unit 1, Lancaster House, Edison Park, Swindon. The property extends to approximately 2,623 sq ft and benefits from generous on site car parking.
Frank Robinson, finance director of DestinationSkin commented: “We moved our head office to Edison Park because of its excellent location, with easy access to the M4 and a 10 minute drive to the mainline train station. We were also impressed with the property itself: spacious and airy, with plenty of natural light.”
Martin Baker of Whitmarsh Lockhart’s Office Agency Department commented: “Given the turbulent nature of the property world at this time it is a pleasure to complete this transaction. It is particularly satisfying given the level of works undertaken by the Landlord, Leehampton Developments, to tailor the accommodation to DestinationSkin’s requirements. A package of works including the creation of meeting rooms and installation of air conditioning was completed to a very tight timescale.
“Lancaster House is the first phase of development at Edison Park with accommodation still available in the building, together with space in the latter phase York House, and the recently completed 24,000 sq ft Grade A office building Richmond House. Specification and facilities are excellent with quoting rents ranging from £14.00 per ft per annum,” he said.
